Return - Refund - Warranty

RETURN POLICY

 

All purchases made on www.weareaveo.com can be returned within 14 days from the date of receipt of the order. 

Return condition  

  • Items to be returned must not have been used in any way. 
  • The items must necessarily be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped to the customer and must be packed and packaged appropriately. 
  • All other article labels, whether fabric or hanging, must be intact and under no circumstances removed from the article..
  • The return of the product must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the return authorisation received by email from our Customer Service.
  • The return will be processed within 3-4 working days from the date of receipt of the returned goods at our warehouse.

Upon failure to comply with any of the above conditions, ikigai studio srl reserves the right not to accept the returned goods and to send them back to the Customer at the latter's expenses.

We will check the quality of the product and issue a refund only if it meets the conditions of the return policy.

How to make a return request 

Send your return request by email to: hello@weareaveo.com specifying the order number and indicating the product code that you want to return.

You will receive a Return Authorization email with instructions from our customer service department. 

Items you wish to return remain your responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so be sure to always ask for a receipt of your return shipment in case we need to see it later.

Shipping costs for the return shall be borne by the Customer.

For returns outside the EU

  • You'll need to mark all returns as "Returned Goods - Failed Sale".. This must be clearly indicated on the customs information document that you will be required to present (CN22 and/or CN23) and on the outside of the package. Failure to do so may result in the return not being received and returned to sender or the payment of customs duties on your behalf, which will be deducted from the returned funds.
  • When shipping, do not enclose the invoice shipped with the original order with your return, but state the value of the individual goods being returned. 

 

REFUNDS

Once you have received the items for which you have requested a return, we will check that the product meets these specifications. We will then pay within 15 days of delivery the 15 days from delivery of the product, we will refund the amount paid for the purchase using the same method of payment chosen by the purchaser at the time of purchase.

You will not be reimbursed for shipping costs that you have incurred when you placed your order, the cost of return shipping and any customs and VAT charges.

Changes

If the customer wishes to exchange a product of equal or greater value, he/she must send the return procedure and place a new order on the site www.weareaveo.com .

WARRANTY POLICY

 

AVEO eyewear products are warranted for two (2) years from the date of purchase against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship.

Warranty is only valid with a proof of purchase from weareaveo.com or an Authorized AVEO Dealer that clearly shows the purchase date.

WHAT IS COVERED BY WARRANTY (examples):

  • Delamination and/or peeling of sun lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY (examples):

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches or pit marks on sun lenses and frame)
  • Damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of product, lack of responsible care.
  • Damages due to any other cause not related to defective design, workmanship and/or materials.
  • Damage caused on lenses by chemicals (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, etc.)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Installation of non-AVEO lenses
  • Products purchased from resellers or other unauthorized channels/websites such as eBay, Amazon, Vinted, StockX, etc..

 

How to apply a warranty request

Send your warranty request by email to: hello@weareaveo.com specifying the order number , warranty issue, along with one or more photos of the products showing the alleged defects and a valid proof of payment.

If the defect is recognized by ikigai studio srl (following the listed above warranty applies) we will ask you to ship the products back to us with our support.

If the defect is recognized by ikigai studio srl as a defect in materials or production, the product will be replaced free of charge with a new one. In case of the model in question is no longer available or out of production, you will be offered the opportunity to choose another model of equal value.
